If you want a fat melting, strength building, non-bulking, cardio pumping workout, then Coach Aimee Reynolds ladies Muay Thai class is for you!
Calvert MMA Academies’ offers a ladies Muay Thai Kickboxing class which is built around the study of Muay Thai, a traditional form of kickboxing that offers a strength and cardiovascular endurance workout as well as stress relief. Each ladies Muay thai class at the Calvert MMA Academy is suited for beginners and the experienced boxer with curriculum focusing on developing your basic boxing technique, including both hand and leg work. In addition, in our ladies Muay Thai class you will learn pad holding skills and techniques to train safely with a partner. Our Ladies Muay Thai Kickboxing Class, taught by Coach Aimee Reynolds, meets twice per month on Saturday from 8:30am to 10:00am (subscribe to our monthly newsletter or check website for upcoming class dates). Each participant should have hand wraps and boxing gloves. Come join us at the Calvert MMA Academy and Kick-Start your Saturday! For new students wishing to try the ladies Muay Thai class who don’t have hand wraps or boxing gloves, contact Coach Aimee prior to class. Coach Aimee has a few sets of equipment to lend out first times attending her class.
Due to a busy schedule, Coach Aimee isn’t available to continue this class at the current time. We will keep you up to date if anything changes. In the mean time we have a co-ed Thai Boxing class on Mondays and Wednesdays. Also, Coach Aimee is currently accepting students at her private studio for yoga and fitness kickboxing classes during the week.
